This 4 week class is provided by Morgan McCue through the Youth Sports Alliance ActiV8 Program

Dates: April 26, May 3, 10, 17
Times: 1:45-3:15pm
From the ancient art of graffiti to the painted rocks of the pandemic lockdown, fairy gardens to flash mobs, people have been recognizing opportunities for art anywhere and everywhere for thousands of years.
While this class will not condone illegal defacing of property, it will focus on seeing the world as malleable. We will create art that forces viewers to see something already in existence in a new way. And we will also learn to recognize the beauty of accidental art that forms organically – the shape of a melting icicle or the barbie doll hanging from a power line. Seeing the world for its artistic potential encourages creative, out-of-the-box thinking, and problem solving in all aspects of life.
