'ORGANIZED' CHAOS
I’ve been writing my next blog post in my head and jotting down little notes on scrap paper for days. Worrying about what to say next and how to make it sound profound. Or, at least, really thoughtful.
It was looming over my head like a term paper on Monday, causing crunch-time anxiety. Then, I looked up, took inventory of my surroundings, and thought, ‘maybe I’m trying to do too many things at once’. And then, 'a picture is worth a thousand words'.
So I took a picture of that moment from exactly where I was standing, trussing a chicken.
I’ve never heard anyone say, ‘artists, man, they are SO organized’. But, while my organizational appearance may be lacking, I’ve always thought I could remember where everything was. Right where I left it.
For this week’s blog I’ll share a typical Monday’s ‘to do’ list and show you exactly how it manifests into apparent chaos before eventually getting done. It's all makes sense up here, folks (pointing to head).
And, in order to make this blog post more than a self-indulgent sharefest, I will add informational links that help inform my daily chores.
